With over a decade on the decks, Lorne Padman truly is a testament to the longevity of Australia's dance music industry. With humble beginnings in Perth as a pioneer of everything from New Order & Underworld to 'hands in the air' big room house, Lorne's tunes are united by a common - they're all lock n loaded dancefloor weapons.

Since moving to Melbourne in 2004, his last few years have seen him grace stages in Europe, New Zealand & Russia's mega-club 'RAI', however his greatest achievement to date is his current role as General Manager of Australian dance label juggernaut VICIOUS, along side industry veterans John Course & Andy Van (Vandalism, Madison Avenue). Developing, signing and marketing some of the worlds leading musical talent including Ian Carey, The Potbelleez, Dirty South, Vandalism, Mousse T., Freemasons, Stonebridge, Supafly Inc, BodyRox, mrTimothy and Mind Electric has given Lorne front row seats to the world's most cutting edge music dropped on his desk daily.

On top of his DJing and Vicious careers, Lorne also manages to squeeze more than his fair share of time in the studio. An avid music lover from an early age splicing together 'mix-tapes' (with actual cassette tapes!), making his own beats and tunes was a seemingly natural step for him; spending studio time with the likes of Dirty South, Studio B, Ian Carey, Supafly Inc and Christian Luke since 2005, Lorne has collaborated on a horde of remixes which have received notable support across the globe – including Hook n Sling 'The Best Thing' (#1 ARIA Club Chart for 7weeks), Silosonic 'Something to Make You Feel Right' (#1 ACC), Stonebridge 'You Don't Know' (#7 ACC), Pitch Dark & Sgt Slick 'I Am Ready' (#10 ACC), SE:SA 'Like This, Like That' (#10 ACC), So Phat! 'The Surface', James Kakande 'You You You' and Wamdue Project 'Forgiveness'. Lorne & Christian's remix of Kurd Maverick's awesome cover 'Blue Monday' cover took out the prestigious #1 ARIA Club Chart position for 7weeks to round out 2008, was selected for the Ministry Of Sound Annual 2009 with their remix of 'The Secret' by Peroxide (Toolroom Records UK) and was twice playlisted by 'Pete Tong BBC UK Radio1 Essential Selection' with the coveted 'Pete Tong's big seal of approval!'

Lorne & Christian made waves in 2009 remixing Dirty South 'Alamo', Juan Kidd & Felix Baumgartner feat Lisa Millett 'Now You're Gone' for Defected/OneLove (#1 ARIA Club Chart for 5weeks), Tommy Trash 'Need Me To Stay' (Top3 ARIA Club Chart for 8 weeks and co-written by The Potbelleez), Moony 'I Don't Know Why' (Top10 ARIA Club Chart for 8 weeks) and Lorne is set to round out the year with some new cracking solo productions that promise to smash a dancefloor near you!
