As a kid, Jeff was always outdoors, he hated computer consoles. When he started attending high school, he started playing guitar, using his PC to play tunes, for a couple of years, until the age of 17 ½. He wanted to record his guitar chords on his PC with FL studio, this didn’t work and a couple of weeks later he quit…realizing he was better at playing with a keyboard and using VST’s then playing guitar. Jeff started producing house music and bam ever since that day, he never came out of his room haha… no just kidding, but the PC became important though.

Jeff began producing for numerous hours every day and things started to pay off. After just producing for a half year, his first release got signed to Patchy Recordings (Holland) which came out just after his 18th birthday. This release Caught the interest of high profile electro-clash bad boy; Larry Tee, meaning that more people started paying attention to this kid. Jeff Now closely works together with highly praised Skitzofrenix, and is getting support from the likes of Wongo, Scott Cooper, Tom EQ, HiJack, Kyle Watson and many more!!

He’s very thank full to all the people who have helped him get this far in just 2 years time. Hopefully it will continue like this, with upcoming releases on Jengaa, Dj’s Are Not Rockstars and an alias project (The Potato Heads) together with the one and only Tom EQ on Jack Union. Furthermore he started producing alongside the head of Jack Union, HiJack under his alias Jefferson. Skitzofrenix (A very well known dj and producer world-wide) has also taken him under his wing in the Lost&Found dutch agency which hosts every big dutch dj or producer you can think of.

It’s been a whirlwind couple of years for Brisbane artist Danny T having launched into the scene in 2006 and is now one of the most sought after Dj’s and producers in the country.

His hectic work schedule has seem him in and out of the studio remixing local and international artists, mixing it up on Triple J, supporting dance music heavy weights Switch, Lee Mortimer, MSTRKRFT, Sinden, Fakeblood, Riva Starr, Don Rimini, Malente, Claude Von Stroke, Format B, A-Trak, MightyFools, Bart B More, as well as playing major festivals – Future Music, Goodvibrations, Parklife and Stereosonic. Throw in warm up sets for Crookers at both of their Brisbane shows, Closing after Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki during their Outrage tour and it’s no wonder he was voted 9 Australian DJ in the 2009 InTheMix Top50 DJ Poll. I guess you could say that this kids doing ok.

Danny has also managed to find time to finish some original releases which have taken club land by storm. ‘Chico’ released on BamBam Musik this June spent 12 weeks in the Aria Chart Top 50 reaching the 10 spot and spent 5 weeks in the Beatport Electro House Top 100. It received worldwide support with plays on Kissy Sell Outs Radio show on Radio1 aswell as being remixed by German electro master MALENTE, The Hump Day Project, Tom Piper and a remix collaboration from the LNA Crew - Baby Gee, Habebe and Benny Electric.

His latest project with Chris James (UK) of Potty Mouth music fame sees the two lads collaborate to produce the ‘Tales of the Middle East’ EP featuring tracks Balkan Blues, Return to Klezmer & Spartan Games and has been getting support from DJ’s and producers across Europe. Many DJ’s claim to have music in their blood , a so called passion that has always been there. A story told over and over, however every now and then its actually the truth…

Raised in a household that’s was music mad, Mathew Ladgrove aka Wongo was exposed to all sorts of music delights from a very young age taking in some classic artists and music genres throughout the years, moulding that musical brain of his slowly but surely nurturing it to its current mould of what he calls “wig out “.

After crafting his trade as an early teen as one of the countrys most talented and prolific breakdancers , solo and with the acclaimed breakdance crew Skill @Will Wongos hard work ethic and natural talent for that something a little wild and crazy became apparent. After years of relentless breaking Wongos heart and interest started to lean towards dance music.

Learning his craft following initially down the track of quirky minimal and techno from the likes of Luciano, Frankie, Massi DL, Richie Hawtin and so forth Wongo started to start this whirlwind journey of sorts, however it wasn’t until he heard the sounds of artist Solid Groove and there selection of cutting edge remixes that he knew where his heart lay and he instantly knew that’s where it was at for him.

A year on and with a work ethic applied as hard as his breakdancing in earlier years with music production, Wongo’s discography is nothing short of impressive with original material released on Cleanhouse music and upcoming on Union Records, released bootlegs of Queen and Busta Rhymes, as well as remixes for artists Full Phat, YoDisko and Luke Ladgroove. However perhaps his most exciting releases is the forthcoming ep signed to ESP Records with a remix package courtesy of Hijack and Nic Sarno along with a Jack Union release with Heavyweight players Hijack and Lee Mortimer on remix duty.

Along with all this. Wongo has endeavoured in a new side project with Raye Antonelli under the outfit name Pow! Pow!, and together have secured their first two remixes on heavyweight labels Ministry of Sound Australia and Domino Records.

To date you can find Wongos tunes in the playlists of artists like Edu K, Scott Cooper, Clark Able, Hijack and many more. This story is only starting for this young kid known as Wongo… not only is he playing music he is making it… so let it begin
